THE NEW JERSEY SPCA LOST ONE OF ITS OWN. . LT.MURRAY ROTHBLATT WAS A DEDICATED AND CARING HUMANE POLICE OFFICER WHOSE SELFLESS SERVICE PROTECTED COUNTLESS ANIMALS IN NEW JERSEY FROM NEEDLESS SUFFERING. HE WILL BE MISSED.

MurryJohn Smith was an agent in Zone 4 since January of 2007 and resided in Flanders NJ. He is survived by his wife Sue, three daughters, one son and four grandchildren. He was an avid motorcyclist and member of BKNJIX (Blue Knights), coached and played Rugby, and was a volunteer fireman for many years. He was 56 years old.
