Can I remain anonymous when I file a complaint about animal cruelty?
No, however we will never release your information. The agencies conducting the investigations have limited resources, and the case is more likely to be pursued when there are credible witnesses willing to stand behind the report and, if necessary, testify in court about what they may have witnessed. If you wish to remain anonymous, please include that information in your email. One of our officers will be in touch with you to confirm the information and you will be treated as a ‘confidential informant’.
